He has participated in over $250 million in condo conversion and ground-up luxury construction — partnering with prominent builders and developers on premier properties across Florida.
His expertise stretches across commercial mortgages, cash-flowing asset acquisition (lottery winnings, seller-held mortgages, life insurance policies, annuities), loan origination, credit card processing, and merchant cash advances.
Mr. Chao spent the core of his career doing business in New York City, living in Trump Tower and working downtown from 2009 to 2016.
As of August 2025, he has refocused on Florida's Treasure Coast — Port St. Lucie, Palm Bay, Stuart, and Vero Beach — acquiring properties with upside potential for rehab, re-zoning, flipping, subdividing, and sale to developers and end users.
Looking forward to 2027, MoneyX will expand its product line with higher-yielding home improvement loans for new HVAC systems, pools, and home additions — using the home as collateral with a UCC-1 filing on equipment and a lien on the property.
He has also formed MoneyX Global LLC to diversify into international real estate investing by raising funds through its PPM structure.
